Airport delivery is not automatic

A listing with hotel delivery does not necessarily include Chiang Mai International Airport. Select or request the actual handover location and confirm the fee with the shop. Do not travel assuming a bike will be waiting from the word 'delivery' alone.

Share the flight number and expected arrival time if the shop asks for them, but agree a clear meeting point separately. Immigration, baggage and flight delays make an approximate landing time different from a reliable handover time.

Choose around your luggage and first ride

A scooter is not a substitute for an airport luggage transfer. Check whether your bags can be carried safely and legally without affecting control, lights or the passenger seat. A taxi to the hotel followed by scooter delivery may be the safer plan for large cases.
