1. Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. About RideLanna

RideLanna is a curated marketplace, launching in Chiang Mai, Thailand, that will connect travellers with vetted local bike shops. We are not the owner of the bikes; rentals are provided by independent partner shops under a separate rental agreement.

3. Service availability

Bookings are available only for approved shops and available vehicles. A request becomes confirmed only when the shop accepts it before the displayed deadline.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use the site and to rent a bike when we launch. You must hold a motorcycle licence valid for the vehicle and for riding in Thailand, plus any international permit required for your licence. The shop checks eligibility before handover.

5. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist places no obligation on you and reserves nothing. We'll use your email only as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Bookings & payments

RideLanna takes no payment online and never asks for your card details. Booking sends a request to the shop; you pay that shop directly at handover, with delivery already included in the total and any refundable deposit stated separately. Because nothing is charged, cancelling is free at any time before pickup. The full terms of a rental, including that shop's deposit, insurance and delivery, are shown to you before you confirm, and a signed copy is saved to your account. See the Rental Agreement.

1. The rider chooses free shop pickup or delivery when offered. The exact shop address is shared in the booking after the shop confirms. Delivery is charged once at the quoted price, subject to the shop accepting the destination.
2. Accepting these terms sends a request. The rental booking is confirmed only when the shop accepts the request. Each party's acceptance is recorded separately.
3. A request expires after 24 hours at the latest, or at the scheduled pickup time if sooner. An expired or declined request is not a confirmed booking. Any alternative requires a new request and acceptance of its terms.
4. The total includes the listed rental charges, chosen extras and delivery fee. The refundable deposit is separate. The rider pays the shop at handover; no payment is collected online.
5. The rider may cancel without a platform cancellation fee before scheduled pickup and before handover. After pickup, cancellation is replaced by a documented return or a dispute; it cannot erase a rental that has started.
6. A proposed change does not change an accepted booking until the rider accepts the new terms. Existing accepted versions remain available.
7. Handover, return and vehicle condition checks are arranged directly between the rider and shop. RideLanna does not require condition reports or inspection photos to be uploaded to the platform.
8. The shop records pickup and return status for booking management. Any damage claim or additional charge must be explained and handled directly between the rider and shop under their accepted rental terms and applicable law.

7. Pricing & currency

Prices are set in Thai baht. Other currencies are shown for guidance using daily exchange rates and may differ slightly from what your bank applies; the amount the shop asks for is the baht figure on your agreement.

8. Partner shops

Each bike is provided by an independent partner shop that has agreed to our four commitments: fixed prices, no passport held as collateral, insurance with the excess shown before booking, and delivery arrangements stated up front. Cover, deposits and delivery differ from shop to shop, and each shop's own terms are shown in full before a rider books and are saved with the booking. Shops remain responsible for their bikes and for honouring the terms they published.

9. Intellectual property

The RideLanna name, logo, copy, and design are ours. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

10. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site, no attempts to break, scrape, overload, or disrupt it, and no unlawful use.

11. Disclaimers

We maintain the platform and handle reported booking issues. Maintenance or failures can interrupt access; contact hello@ridelanna.com if you cannot access a confirmed booking. Existing accepted contracts are not rewritten by a website update.

12. Limitation of liability

• The rental is between the rider and the independent rental shop. RideLanna provides the booking platform and does not own the vehicle.
• The shop is responsible for the vehicle, its maintenance, the accuracy of its listing and the rental services it provides. RideLanna remains responsible for its own services as required by applicable law.
• Insurance coverage, exclusions, deductibles and claims depend on the shop's actual policy. An insurance excess is not a universal cap on liability. No statement here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
• The rider must hold a licence valid for the vehicle in Thailand, comply with local law and the insurer's conditions, and wear a suitable helmet. The shop checks eligibility before handover.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

14. Changes

We may update these terms for future use and revise the date above. Changes to an accepted rental or partnership agreement require a new version and explicit acceptance.
