When shop pickup makes sense
Shop pickup avoids the selected delivery charge. It may suit you when you can reach the shop comfortably during its agreed handover hours. Allow for the time and cost of travelling there when comparing it with delivery.
The shop’s identity and exact pickup details are provided through your reservation after booking. Wait for the shop to confirm the request and arrange the meeting before travelling. A location shown as Chiang Mai is not an exact collection address.
When to choose delivery to your accommodation
Delivery can be convenient if you are already at your accommodation and can meet the shop there. Enter the full address, including a clear hotel or building name. Similar hotel names and multiple entrances can otherwise cause a missed handover.
Delivery is not universally free or available at every address. The booking quote shows the selected fee separately. Ask the shop to accept the location and time; choosing delivery does not guarantee an airport meeting, late-night arrival or an out-of-town address.
Compare the complete handover cost
Compare the bike rental and extras for the same dates first. Then add the delivery charge if you choose it. With shop pickup, consider your own transport to and from the shop; those journey costs are not part of the RideLanna quote.
Do not treat hotel delivery as an equipment add-on charged every day. It is selected through the handover option. A return collection or a change of hotel may have different terms, so establish what the agreed charge covers.
Settle the return plan before you collect the scooter
Agree the return location, time, fuel level and who will receive the keys. If you change hotels, ask whether the shop accepts a different return address and whether an additional fee applies. Do not leave a scooter unattended without an agreed return procedure.
For either handover option, allow time to inspect the bike, check the written terms and verify the deposit arrangement. Pay the shop directly as agreed. Your original passport should not be held as collateral.

Does delivery include collecting the scooter at the end?
Not automatically. Read the delivery and return policy and agree whether collection is included or charged separately.
