How to rent a scooter in Chiang Mai with RideLanna

1. Search and compare the full listing

Enter pickup and return dates to check the bikes that can accept a request. Compare the model, total rental price, deposit, delivery, extras and shop policies. Availability and terms belong to the individual listing.

Check your motorcycle licence, international permit requirements and insurance before choosing. The platform cannot make an unlicensed or uninsured trip valid by accepting a form.

2. Send a request and watch its status

Complete the rider and handover details, then send the request. While the shop considers it, the requested bike and dates are protected from conflicting marketplace requests. The booking is still pending until the shop accepts.

You receive status emails, and the booking appears in your account. If the shop declines or the request is cancelled, return to the catalogue and choose another available listing rather than relying on the original bike.

• Pending: waiting for the shop
• Confirmed: accepted by the shop
• In progress: rental has started
• Completed or cancelled: rental has ended or will not proceed

3. Arrange payment and handover with the shop

RideLanna does not collect the rental payment online. Follow the confirmed booking details and arrange the rental amount and any refundable deposit directly with the shop.

At handover, verify the agreed bike, documents, helmet, controls, fuel and return arrangements. Your original passport must not be retained as collateral. Keep the booking contact available for changes or problems.

Changes, cancellations and problems

Contact the shop before changing dates, route or return location. A change only applies after it is accepted. Cancellation terms are shown with the booking and may depend on timing.

Use the booking's problem-reporting action for a no-show, unavailable bike, early return or disagreement. The report creates a record for support; it is not an automatic refund or liability decision.
