Before booking a scooter, check where it will stay overnight and at the places you visit. Parking convenience is part of choosing a model, particularly if your accommodation has a narrow entrance, ramp or shared courtyard.
This is a planning checklist, not a map of authorised parking. Follow current signs and directions at each location; temporary access arrangements can change.

Ask your accommodation about overnight parking
Confirm that scooters are accepted and find out how to enter after the main reception closes. Ask whether there is a designated area and any key or access procedure. An address suitable for delivery does not establish overnight parking permission.
Think about the size of the scooter when moving through the entrance and turning it around. A parking arrangement you can manage with the engine off is a useful part of the shortlist, especially when comparing a small scooter with a larger maxi-scooter.
Read the situation at every city stop
Use marked or explicitly authorised parking and check the current signs, access restrictions and any fee before leaving the bike. Ask the venue where scooters should go if the arrangement is unclear. Avoid blocking entrances, footways or access needed by other people.
Markets, events and temporary works may change where a road or venue can be reached. Plan a place to stop and continue on foot instead of expecting to park beside every entrance. This guide does not establish a city-wide rule for a particular kerb colour or day of the week.
Agree the security routine with the shop
Have the shop demonstrate the steering lock, ignition or smart-key system and any supplied lock. Ask what security steps the rental and insurance terms require when the scooter is parked. Keep the keys with you and check that you have not left a spare or remote in the storage.
Plan where the helmet will go and what valuables you will take with you. Underseat storage is not a reason to leave important documents or valuables unattended. Confirm any replacement charge for a lost key, helmet or supplied lock.
Parking is different from returning the rental
A hotel parking space does not become an authorised return point just because delivery took place there. Agree the final location, appointment and person receiving the keys with the shop.
Keep a record of the completed return and deposit process. If a planned parking or access arrangement changes during your stay, tell the shop where relevant and organise another lawful location rather than improvising an unattended handover.
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Can I park anywhere other scooters are parked?
Other vehicles do not establish permission. Check signs, marked spaces and the venue’s directions at that location.
Does my hotel need to approve scooter delivery?
Ask about the meeting point, access and parking. The accommodation’s rules and the rental shop’s delivery agreement are separate checks.
Can I return the scooter by leaving the keys at reception?
Only under a return procedure explicitly accepted by the shop. Arrange the condition check and deposit process too.
