Use this checklist when collecting your scooter or receiving a delivery. Go through the vehicle and agreement with the shop before accepting it.
This reminder does not replace a mechanical inspection or guarantee vehicle safety. Ask the shop to resolve any concern before handover.
At the handover
Match the agreement to the booking
Check the dates, vehicle and total. Keep the refundable deposit separate from rental, delivery and extras.
Confirm riding-area restrictions and how delays or changes are handled. An extension depends on the shop’s maximum rental length and next booking.
Record the starting condition together
Agree how existing damage is recorded and keep copies of the condition notes and photos. RideLanna does not require inspection photos to be uploaded.
Have the shop show you the controls and explain what to do if there is a problem. A visual check cannot establish every component’s mechanical condition.
Keep the return simple
Agree the return location, time and fuel arrangement. Save the contact details from your confirmed booking.
Check the return condition and any proposed deduction together. Ask for an explanation and keep payment and deposit records.
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Does this replace an inspection?
No. It organises your conversation with the shop. Ask a qualified person about mechanical concerns and do not accept a vehicle you believe is unsafe.
Do I upload photos to RideLanna?
No. The shop and rider arrange condition checks directly. Keep the agreed records for your rental.
Can the shop keep my passport as a deposit?
RideLanna shops must not retain an original passport as collateral. Check the listing for cash deposits and identity-copy requirements.
